  The new agency combines the Rail Administration and parts of the Maritime Administration and Road Administration. The Road Regions are now parts of the new Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment.

FINNISH TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AGENCY
The complete structural reform of the transport administration will facilitate more comprehensive traffic system thinking as the various modes of transport come together under the new Transport Infrastructure Agency.
