Our Service Promise

The Finnish Road Administration is responsible for the condition and trafficability of roads. We set quality requirements for our services on the basis of policy outlines defined by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the funds allocated to road management.

We purchase the services and products needed for road planning, construction and maintenance from consultants and contractors.

Our service promise specifies the standard of service you can expect from the Finnish Road Administration. We utilise the monitoring and the feedback received to develop our services.

More information on the road network and road management and on the related services is available on our website. You can get up-to-date and reliable information on driving conditions on the main roads and other heavily trafficked roads. We publish bulletins about road conditions and traffic disturbances through the media and on our website.

You can always turn to our customer service when you want to contact the Finnish Road Administration

Our customer service has the duty to ensure that you get an answer to your inquiry or feedback as quickly as possible, and in any case not later than two weeks after your initial contact, unless the issue requires more extensive administrative handling. We appreciate your feedback!

You can contact our customer service by phone or by e-mail. You can notify the road user's line if there is a sudden problem in road conditions or in traffic. The
line is open for 24 hours a day. Further information: www.tiehallinto.fi/english.

Have a safe journey!
